Women’s Scan Room first established as Women’s Ultrasound Malvern in 1997. Initially operating out of premises on Wattletree Road in Malvern, the practice moved to the heart of Cabrini Hospital in 2015.

More than two decades on, we continue to deliver excellence in women’s ultrasound at The Wynlorel Centre, 145 Wattletree Road Malvern or alternatively, within the convenience of the Cabrini Mother and Baby Centre at Cabrini Hospital Malvern. 

In 2021, our site at Clayton was established in Melbourne’s south east. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the Monash Medical Centre and Monash Children’s Hospital precinct. The premises is a modern, comfortable, purpose built facility that has the convenience of limited off-street and ample street parking.

Across all locations, all of the ultrasound scans are performed by specialist obstetrician and gynaecologists with subspecialty qualifications in obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasound or by specially trained ultrasonographers. There will be a specialist doctor on site every day.

Using state of the art ultrasound equipment, we provide patients having pregnancy ultrasound scans with high-resolution digital images of their unborn babies.

We continue to provide the latest in gynaecological ultrasound services - with a particular emphasis on the investigation of infertility, gynaecological oncology and endometriosis. In addition to offering dedicated gynaecological scans, we also offer tubal patency assessments (Hydro-Contrast Salpingography) and perform saline infusion sonohysterograms.
